What If There Isn't Much Damage to My Car?

There's no question that jurors are persuaded by the amount of property damage to the car.  In cases that I handle where there is severe injury but little damage, I will often file a motion with the judge (motion in limine) to prohibit the defense attorney from introducing pictures of the lack of damage because it is medically irrelevant to the amount of injury.

Also, you need to start making a list now of friends and family who can come testify about your injuries and how they have affected you from their perspective.  If there is no property damage and you are the only one who testifies about your injuries, they jury will likely not be sympathetic.
