We Offer An Exclusive Web Portal For Referring Attorneys
A large portion of the cases we accept come from other attorneys throughout the state and even the country. We are very pleased to work with other lawyers on cases that they do not routinely accept or, for some other reason, they feel that the client would be best served by allowing us to participate in the prosecution of the case.
All lawyers at some point have been involved in a situation where they refer a case to another law firm only to never hear from them again or get less than the agreed upon fees. When you refer a personal injury case to an out-of-town law firm, you do not really know who you are dealing with. At Schultz & Myers, nothing is more important to us than our reputation. That includes our reputation amongst our referral partners across the country. Simply put, you can feel confident that we will not forget about you after you have referred the case, nor will we try to "renegotiate" the fee split once the check comes in. Thus, you can be completely confident in referring your personal injury case to us.
24-Hour Access To Status of Referred Cases
Some referral partners simply wish to send us the case initially and forget about it until we tell them them case is resolved. Others, like to have the ability to check on the status of the referred cases. Thus, as a service to our referral partners, we provide each referring attorney a secure login page on our site. It can only be accessed with a unique username and password. Once logged in, attorneys can see a summary of the cases they have referred us as well as the current status and any agreed upon Fee Split. An example of such is contained below:
